So, my oldest son will be denied an education, my husband will have his career ended, and our income & benefits will be cut drastically.

I talked to my dad about this and he said Trump won't let it happen because "he's a very compassionate man."

He's verbal & charming and when not at school his support needs are mid to low. But given how how schools work his support needs are mid to high when there.

Those supports without federal funding will be gone or very minimal. IDK if it will make sense to send him, or if he will even be allowed.

Of course, then, someone will need to be home with him full time which obviously limits how my husband and I can work. Also, the part about my child not getting an education...

But, guess what my husband, our current breadwinner, does? He's a Special Education teacher!

So, will he still have a job? Seems unlikely, or the schools will have to really cut back on that position. So, him and many others are out of work. Yes, he can teach other subjects but also everyone else who got cut will be looking for jobs and I'd expect other funding is cut so it will be a mess.

I've been working part-time freelancing and such as my kids have been young. If this all happens, I will have to get a full time job since my husband can't. Which is all fine, but I doubt I can find something that pays what he makes since he's been teaching for a long time & has the same benefits.
