Also SSPE, which is fatal, and can show up years and years later.
The fatality rate for SSPE is so close to 100% that it's not worth giving arguing the 8th decimal point.

I think one of the most underreported and scariest facts is that an infection can wipe out immunity against all sorts of other diseases, erase effects from vaccinations. 😱

Has anyone mentioned that the number of measles infections can increase exponentially? (R is the reproduction number.)
Measles has an R value of >12. So:
1, 12, 144, 1728…
Once it gets started, it can go fast.
