Had a lot of fun with this yesterday. No matter what crazy thing you make up, it recognises it as a well known idiom, and explains its meaning to you, the person who just made it up.

This is a fun game: "Teach a man to fish, and he eats beavers" is a humorous variation that highlights the absurdity of simply handing someone a skill without the necessary resources or context. It suggests that teaching someone to fish won't automatically provide them with food, even beavers...
Just one of a few very big reasons why I completely stopped using Google for search, navigation or anything else I could possibly stop using. Not ready to delete fifteen years worth of emails, but will start considering at least switching to a new service for that as well if they keep this crap up.
Right there with you. I'm on the verge of doing a full "takeout" export from Google, and self-hosting the entire archive locally so I can search it in Thunderbird.
