I'm anti-image AI anyway but especially when it comes to reimagining Black histories and trying to imagine Black futures. The data is inherently racist so what you get might look all nice and pretty but it's built out of harmful information. A certain Audre Lorde quote springs to mind.

AI images of Dr. King are disgusting. All AI images are disgusting but the way y’all are using him in them is particularly disturbing. I recall Dr. Bernice King asking for the AI images to stop and people were like “well it’s not really that bad”…He’s her dad. She asked that regarding her dad.
