Pretty certain that as the other platforms keep making terrible decision, this one will grow and grow. As more and more info/companies get their presence here and the user base grows, those "hype" phases will just... not be a thing anymore since everyone is here ;)
Im new myself but Im hoping a bit since ive seen several big name creators talk how theyre loving it over here instead of twitter. Fingers crossed cuz this place is so nice fresh and properly functions

I plan to stay. In fact I'm planning on quietly shuttering my Twitter account. Twitter was falling into greater and greater destitution. But the block + AI thing was the final straw for me. Waiting for my buds to make the move over here, then I'm shutting it down for good. Just not worth it.
Dang idk if I could just up and deleted everything also my Twitter account since I’ve built it up for. 4 years but more power to ya; I hope you’ll be successful here 🙏
I've been there for 12 years 😊 I'm not just gonna up and cold turkey it. There's some folks I love on there who've yet to move here, so I'm waiting for them to join. Then I'm leaving. End of an era, but my hand is kind of forced.
I hope people plan to stick around otherwise what's the point? Going back to Twitter just defeats the purpose of just being like "ughhh twitter making a bad decision let's leave"
Same here regarding the algorithm , back on Twitter I'd be lucky to get 7 likes on an art post. Not to mention how fucking broken the mobile app for it is , When my phone is charging it would litterally refuse to work until roughly an hour later
This is what I worry about when Cara got the “hype”, I still post to there too like BlueSky but everyone else just left after that so both platforms became dead after a while

This platform doesn’t problems for me at all, I’ll still post there but I’m gonna be on the BlueSky timeline over the Twitter one; it’s so much nicer here
altho i still active on twt, i like that the interaction here in bsky is much more organic and you actually get seen or interact by actual people, so im gonna have a good time here for sure :3
I'll be using both platforms because not all my follows are here yet, but my idea is to finally only using this one, also I hope bsky will slowly give us things we are familiar to like saving posts or recieving a notification when someone posts
i honestly plan to stay here, i came here before the announcement and ngl it feels so comforting to be here and posting my art in this app makes me feel so seen i've never been more active in any other platform other than instagram especially talking as much its rlly nice being here :>
It causes a cyclical problem, people show up cause they hate twitter, then they leave cause there's not enough people here, but there's not enough people here cause they leave, and then they're given more reasons to hate twitter

Not saying that I don't want them to join in BlueSky, but hey if they're leaving because of the hype dwindled. It's better
