Threads started off fun but I ended up feeling disillusioned by it because it ended up with a lot of the same problems Twitter had (and still has)

When they added the Trending stuff that was pretty much the final straw because the Trending bs was exactly why I hated using Twitter

not just get away, but effectively wall them off thanks to the nuclear block, and labelers and block lists -- blocking someone who replied to you erases that reply so NOBODY can see it, it's so good

I'm surprised to hear people are still using Threads. I think most people joined it, immediately disabled the algorithm for finding new people to follow, and gave up on it in a matter of days.

I think it’s gotten a bit better now? I do see a lot of artists on it but when I see someone talking about the issues of AI, I do a lot of AI lovers get upset and start using the artists art in the comments like Twitter users are doing
