I'm building out a guidebook + problem set around this mental model.
It's original work based on distilling my own 20 years of experience and then trying to capture what I often just throw out off the cuff in pairing sessions or teaching, etc.
The underlying method is rooted in pattern languages and I took inspiration from Christopher Alexander's "Timeless Way of Building" but you'd really need to squint to see it in the end result because I am not trying to directly use the pattern language format.
