Yeah, I’ve been off all of those for years. When I suggest that shopping at Walmart is unethical, a lot of people just look as me funny.

I know in a lot of towns or smaller communities. They are a conglomerate and don’t have anything else.

That's what's so insidious. They come in and decimate the commercial community, and then they're the only game in town. (In several towns, often.) And people are unaware of how they've been swindled. Galling.
