Much as I sympathize with the push for improved access to healthcare in the US, we also have to realize that people in the US have much more sedentary lifestyles and eat significantly more food which is far less healthy than that eaten by those in other countries. Those more than explain this chart.

The distance between these lines represents MILLIONS of American lives lost and hundreds of billions of dollars extracted by the health insurance industry. I feel little remorse for one CEO against this backdrop of widespread suffering, death, and greed.
