It's good to get the attention, but I'm afraid too many don't realize this is theatre and nothing of real substance. Also, he began by saying both sides (Ds and Rs) are very concerned, which is a really ridiculous statement. He should be attacking the GOP more than Trump and Musk, but he won't.

It's not a question of disparaging Booker's effort. It's a question of do the Democrats think, "Well, Cory Booker did that & we helped so we're good here. Maybe this will get the complainers off our back." The fact they IMMEDIATELY granted unanimous consent for the Whitaker nom to move ahead is bad.

Right? They don't think strategically AT ALL. They should have had another Dem Senator ready to go after Booker. But, AT A MINIMUM, they should have been prepared to deny unanimous consent as the very next act. But that doesn't appear to have occurred to them!
