I was in the second group! Thanks for being there. I was USAID BHA until a month ago. Our team was responsible for oversight for $11b of humanitarian aid. All of it is disrupted and lives are being lost.

Second, you commented that Jeffries had sent a statement about the red line for CR being Medicaid. However, right now we have DOGE doing illegal things

Medicaid is important but they can still demolish it during reconciliation. It is also important that there be BINDING mechanisms to stop DOGE's illegal actions. I worry that the Democrats are giving up their only power to stop the fall of our democracy.

We got there early, waited in line in the rain only to be told it was full. And that it would be one and one half hours till we could enter so we went home. Happy for the turnout but so disappointed and frankly puzzled by the choice of such a small venue.

Hi Rep Randall. I’m one of your constituents. Thanks for doing the town halls, being on Bluesky, and supporting Rep Green. We cannot proceed as normal when the rule book has been thrown out by those who are full speed ahead destroying the country.
