Such a virus should have only been stored in a BSL-3 or 4 lab. If it was stored below that, it's a critical lesson learned the hard way. It might mean a re-working of that country's BSL standards and procedures.

“Epi friends…” Like Epizootics? It’s frustrating to listen to people get angry over a lab leak but have no idea why they are angry about it. If it was an accident we should be working together to prevent future leaks. If malicious, on the other hand, that creates and altogether different response.
