It’s a good question — I feel like data people would on average resonate with approaching empathy from a “bottom up” knowledge standpoint. I also find approaching it from the “top down” via experience also works. “Why do your projects go so much better than others?” “I have compassion — watch:”

As empathy + action = compassion, I'd go a step further and recommend interdisciplinary education + exposure to charity work/ social causes as key to building a more compassionate workforce/ work culture in data/ digital/ tech!
BTW, did we...(theoretically) just solve the lack of compassion issue in the data field?? 😀
