Yeah, but we didn’t have a good name for it. Wonderland and Oz came to mean “a fantastical place,” not being transported there. “A Conneticut Yankee In King Arthur’s Court” is too long to use well, and nobody’s going to say “Barsoomed.”

Isekai is a nice short term and works. :)
