Oh ffs. Looks like they just worked backwards from the windows? With the idea that windows *have to be on walls* and so decks oriented every which way, linked by some sort of rotating junctions would be the way to go... Rather than just accepting that some windows will be more like skylights.
yeah looks that way… but to think about I’d appreciate windows on the walls at all times, as long as union’s got some REALLY robust artificial gravity and lift systems😅
Heh Heh. I don't even so much mind the gravity situation, as we have to accept the sci fi artificial gravity being capable of something like this... It's the transitions between the decks that seems like the needless complication.
To be fair I respect it trying to make the windows make sense with AG considering so many other designs stick them wherever with little thought to the interior.
The Luna class from Star Trek is pretty glaring for this. Looking at the underside of the saucer people would be walking on the windows.
