Can I get some input on the appropriate usage of ‘took [it/his goal] well’. I think it can only be used for goals whereby the attacker has had time to compose himself and finish in a deliberate fashion.

It cannot therefore be used to describe a headed goal from a corner inside the 6 yard box.

Is there a Premier League footballer who looks less comfortable in their kit than Nick Pope? Jersey always looks a combination of too tight and too short and he 100% does not qualify as an appropriate short sleeve keeper. Fully looks like there’s been a kit mix up every game.
