I presume, because a colleague in my department researched it, that exigent circ’s apply to ICE searches as well. I admit I don’t know that for certain myself, and if someone has case law I’d be glad to know it in terms of arguing with my bosses in my own workplace.

Need to review more closely. Exigent circumstances is from basic Fourth Amendment law and can render s warrantless search or seizure reasonable under the Constitution. But I've seen universities grossly misapply legal concepts to push repressive policies so would hardly be shocked to see that here.
