Maybe all AI does is just enhance the user's feelings of insecurity because it just deepens their inability, not grows their skill or intellect. Like, maybe it's made to cheat you of the knowledge you need to gain mastery over yourself

I reckon AI can be useful for learning but I don't think many use it that way. I have used llm type ones to think out loud, and find resources to double check my ideas or find new ones - I wouldn't have even tried it if Google search wasn't so broken.
On that note bring back "don't be evil" Google
I still use Google, but I have to use web search, filter out AI results with extensions, and use the Wikipedia incessantly. If it comes down to it, I'll buy used encyclopedia sets and get a university researcher pass -- but there's no way I can trust AI results.
Pride goeth before a fall, right? So like, if you're worried about looking dumb, then how will you ever learn anything? Why don't we just normalize looking stupid and admire each others' efforts instead? Not being afraid of work is an incredible trait, and one I truly admire.
People that can just dig in and work and not have anxiety about it, they're amazing. They dive in, get the fish, gut it and don't think twice. I want to be that way with ideas, grab David Lynch's Big Fish, gut it and prep it for use in art.
