It's my second time in the main theater. I went there on New Years Eve a year ago and they served Champagne at midnight on the terrace. I love it there.
More photos of the cinema here. It used to be a warehouse for the Tati, a local store that closed a few years ago. The city of Paris funded it's renovation to bring it back to life. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Louxor
On a related note, the Niemeyer classic in Paris. The simplicity of it makes it one of the best buildings here. (Mimo comes from the streets nearby at Metro Colonel Fabien. He was an anti-fascist hero.)
It's a fantastic cinema. Even has a bar upstairs plus a terrace outside. I went there at New Years Eve a few years ago and at midnight, they gave everyone a free glass of Champagne. The place had been a mess before the city invested in bringing it back to its former glory.
A similar thing happened to a cinema in Wilmslow near us. Used to go as a kid and a teenager then it shut and fell into disrepair until a family bought it and renovated it
