Such a loss for Jax. Tampa has gained a gem! We miss SunRay… I was on the Southbank today and it looks rundown and sad. All those empty little shops that run along the walkway. So depressing. What will it take to rejuvenate downtown? A question that doesn’t ever seem to get an answer.

I am a little more optimistic than you are about downtown. And landlords make dumb short-term decisions all the time--Sunray losing their spot is no surprise. But it's bad that they couldn't find another one in town. Dumb zoning and other myopic policies and attitudes make it very hard.
