I earlier praised @catbohannon.bsky.social 'Eve'. I now picked up the German translation - since the original is out of print in Europe. It seems the translators did not know anatomy. The translation says, e.g., that half of humankind does not have chests! 1/

Further, it says that chimps walked on their ankles. They walked on their knuckles, Cat says in the audiobook, which surely sounds like Knöchel, but are the joints connecting the fingers to the hand. 2/
