Oh yeah. The baffling ones are when you just summarize the adjectives (in this case "decent/very good/good") but then the review itself is still a NEGATIVE.
Though I blame Steam's system. The positive/negative review system needs to go.
Not alone. They take up too much unnecessary space and don't get to the point. It's way more useful to read a review that has short paragraphs for each category (story, graphics, stability etc) with the WHY behind it.
They're just lengthy versions of the number system for each category.
Graphics: 8/10
Audio: 4/10
etc.
Easy, no need copy and paste and waste like 50 lines.
These are the most unhelpful type of reviews, assigning every element a score rather than talking about how well it comes together or what your experience was like.
Yeah...If I wanted a formal review I'd go to a blog or website. On steam, I just want to know what you liked, what you didn't and if you would recommend it.
