Began reading The Good Lord Bird by James McBride yesterday. Despite loving history I didn't really know much about abolitionist John Brown. It's historical fiction but many of his exploits here are true. Was he a hero or terrorist is still an ongoing argument. It's one of my new favorites #booksky
