Good to hear the story retold. Teams moved to Denver on a moments notice were not moved back to DC under Biden, perhaps because it would have been another relocation too much. Trump is making permanent damage, with intent. He is a dog of the lowest order

A bunch of dumb and/or ideologically radical people don’t understand what the federal government does but they know they don’t like it and they want to see it burn. Trump in particular knows there are a lot of federal workers who didn’t vote for him and don’t support him, so he wants them gone.

Just as this story was published, reports emerged of a executive-branch wide email to, apparently, millions of federal workers. It offered them buyouts – and warned of "physical office relocations for a number of federal workers" for those who remained in the civil service.

It’s not a buyout! Please stop selling it to the public that way. Congress has to approve a buyout. The offer is that if you resign by 2/6 you can continue to work thru Sept remotely. Otherwise, you have to go back to the office. They’re trying to make people think it’s a big check- it’s not!
