That injury really didn't do him any favours at all , I remember the UEFA cup winning team of 98 I think he ran a game on Russia on a pitch that was awful and was awesome in the final, but totally agree with you he would be up there with the best of them Pele, Messi and Salah (lol 😂)

That Uefa cup final against Lazio he was unplayable. If he didn't have his major injuries and looked after himself like the modern footballers do these days (like our Mo😂) God only knows what he would've achieved. He'd make Haaland seem like Nicklas Bendtner

That's so true , I also remember him scoring a hat trick against utd and he was brilliant that night as well he was not as good as Lazio game but not far off
