Women in my community are organizing to go in on Costco purchases together (ie, dividing up packs of 12 toothbrushes across three households, etc.) to avoid Target. I don't know if it's sustainable, but progressive suburban moms are *mad.*

These ladies handle 50,000 boxes of Girl Scout cookies per annum. They know the logistics of porch drop-offs & do not have time for any of this the racist/homophobic/transphobic/segregationist/ableist nonsense. It's a sight to behold.
Have seen some that have signed up even when they have no Costco near them- can order most of it online and do the same in areas that don’t have a physical store…
I'm glad to hear it. It is appalling to me that businesses in this day think this is a good strategy. I hope it works and we get Target to come around, although I think they have hurt themselves badly and it will hurt for many years.
