I visited the US for a couple of months in 2010. The nicest people in the world. Felt very safe. A great experience, virtually no problems. I would love to go again, once the Orange Idiot is gone. - ThreadSky

Not the nicest. Or there wouldn't be a 70 million MAGA, a Tea Party, a KKK, Proud Boys, Bundys, and a bag o pipe b_mbs at the Capitol. Nor kicking in doors and locking millions up for a very useful plant. Nor shooting people for their shoes or blasting toddlers at school. Thank u for visiting, tho.

The "nicest" is often fake. They are good at business & service, but the friendliness belies that a great many of the same people would shoot a stranger who stepped on their property, harbour some racism, are climate change deniers, don't own a passport, very transactional / "what's in it for me".
