So to create a feed you have to use something other than Bluesky?

If the small beauties hour is anything like wildflower hour, then it’s not a curated feed (where only certain select people can post), so many of the complicated instructions can be skipped.

Feeds are a sort of curated list. Some of them show posts from specific people. Some of them show posts including specific search terms like #FlashFiction or #SubmissionCall or #WritingPrompt. Unlike Twitter, you can't click on a hashtag - that's why you need feeds (I think?)

If you're on a desktop / laptop, your feeds show up on the right-hand side under the "search" bar. If you're on a mobile, they're up the top under the BlueSky logo and you have to scroll to the right to see them all if you have more than three.

You can see all your feeds if you click on "more feeds" (desktop) or the hashtag down the bottom if you're on mobile. If you press the cog icon, you can choose which feeds to pin, remove feeds you don't want, and choose what order feeds appear in.

Want to see what feeds are out there? Once you're in that "My feeds" section, you can scroll down to where it says "Discover New Feeds" and use the search next to / under that. There are many to choose from, although unfortunately my search for #Flamingo didn't bring up any results.

When you find a feed you like the look of, click "Add" or "Add to My Feeds" at the top of your screen. Then click the "Like" (so it becomes more searchable for others) and the "Pin" (to pin it to your list) icons.
