White people will not be aware of whitesplaining. They simply have an innate assumption that they come from higher authority than a person they code as nonwhite.

Well, actually, it's when white people believe they are correcting someone the believe to be "non-white" even if (especially if) they have no idea what they are talking about
A lot of white people come off that way because they have no understanding of the struggles other races go through. They don’t realize the whole system has been built on white and have never had the cards stacked against them. Their are some flat out racists but most white people are really unaware
Yeah I need to be conscious of this. You have great posts 👍 I hate authority so I'm pretty sure I'm ok in this regard BUT it's just good to know that I need to be extra careful in how I come off
