idk, different strokes for different folks, though, right? like, if you don't like mastodon, that's totally cool! but then other folks don't like bsky. it seems like different folks having the ability to choose the place they are happiest is a good thing?
Yeah, but I never hit my stride over there anyway? Not sure if it was a point in time problem but when Mastodon was really taking off, most folks in my sphere were still on Twitter. Perhaps different now but pretty happy over here so I don’t expect to cross-post or anything like that.
You can always choose to ignore. The Fediverse (which is what you meant, not Mastodon® which is a software not a social network), is decentralised. There is no "one size fits all" rules or guidelines.
