Just gonna say it: a lot of yall do care way more about the numbers on social media than actual artistic integrity. And when you care that much, it kills your creativity.

I've seen a few go back but the amount that have stayed here is significantly higher than the last couple exodi and that's the important part. A lot of the "followers" on there are bots anyway, so the numbers are somewhat inflated.
Ppl who had larger followings on twt screaming and yelling about coming here to bsky because "FUCK ELON" but they can't gather the same following count in less than a week and slowly go back to twt. Idk lol.
Btw if you get your income from having a large following on twt and it makes it easier to sell your art that way, I totally understand that, and this isn't directed at you.
honestly i feel when we care about numbers it both ruins artistic integrity and the whole entire point of social media. we're here to make friends and shit, i'd rather have a small following of people who actually GAF about my work than a large following thats only here for trendy stuff

If you’re truly passionate about your craft in some way? Then numbers are just that. Random numbers.
the downside is you get less views, but the upside is the community you build is much more tightly knit and are never disappointed with what i put up
