I mean, the fun thing about piercings is you can always just try them, if you really hate it you just take the piercing out and it’ll grow over

i have really strong features in general but esp a prominent nose (which is also somewhat crooked, not from an injury, just naturally 😅) and i've honestly found that a septum ring makes it feel more balanced to the rest of my face! maybe bc it fills the space between the nose and lip or something?

i also avoided it for a while for that reason, but the reason i chose to get it in the end was specifically to feel more ownership and beauty in something that i was self-conscious about (even though literally nobody has ever once noticed my nose is crooked lmao) and it did help with that :)

oh yeah that's a good idea! It was so long ago for me (almost 10 years) i forgot i actually did that same thing 😂 if it helps, you can get rings in lots of different sizes! I find that 1/2 inch diameter rings (the biggest most people offer lmao) are my favorite, but lots of ppl like the smaller look

oh mood yeah. piercings are a nice way to ease into it since they can always be removed and healed (eventually) :) and septums are particularly nice because it's one of the few piercings that can be easily hidden and doesn't leave a visible scar if you do decide to remove it!

i also love the look of really chunky septum jewelry 🥰 sensorily they don't work well for me since they're usually clicker style (I usually wear a plain captive ball or infinity ring for smoothness) and i fiddle with mine too much so the sharper hinge irritates my skin, but the look is soooo prime
