Constantly being shafted to ensure that another part of the city is taken care of. Over my years of commuting to work it started at 1hr and progressively got longer where my total daily commute was 3hrs. It was why I purchased my car, I valued my time. Now, that same commute almost 15 years later/2

It is almost 2.5 hours each way. There is this idea that bike lanes will fix all of that and that people need to get used to it. The whole point of my rant is that cities are complex, and there is not a one size fits all approach to fixing the financial woes of public transport. It doesn't mean/3

You can't dismiss people's experiences and tell them to accept what is being done. I believe that cities need to stop the one size fits all approach to governing and go back to understanding the needs of the area. Does my area need bike lanes? No, but another area might.
