1. I love books. Collected them since childhood. I do not know how many I own. I know they do not all fit in the 10 bookcases in our house & are stacked up on endtables, on cabinets, & artfully on the floor. I will not count them. They live here. They are in control.

2. TEA. Cannot function without tea. I am the tinman where tea is my oil and I will freeze up without it. Give me tea, or I am in danger of becoming static. Green tea, black tea, white tea, red. All are glorious and make my brain sing. (Not Earl Gray, though, that will make me crumble)

4. Fountain Pens. oh no don't get me started on my FP addiction. I 💙 them so. My collection started with a single pen i was afraid to use & now if you meet me in person & I have my pens I'll be like TRY THIS PEN. NOW THIS ONE. PLEASE LOVE FPs TOO SO WE CAN BE BESTIES & TALK ABOUT PENS FOR HOURS

5. INKS. Of course this was going to be the next logical list item, right after fountain pens! I adore alllll the inks, especially teal inks, purple inks, and antique-y browns... oh & green inks & sunset-like pinks, & all the colors in between. Give me the shading inks, the high-sheens & shimmers 😍

I bet you thought I was gonna say paper next which is also something I love. Art is paper-adjacent so it qualifies. But ART! Drawings, paintings, sculpture, writing, performance - all these art forms have the power to move you, inspire wonder, prompt questions, & dream & hope. Art is life
