A pity that the cheapest, easiest, healthiest, quickest, most effective, kindest & ethical way to cut food system greenhouse gas emissions - switching to plant-based diets- is buried under the heading of “food system efficiency”. It could be the emergency brake on climate change if promoted sensibly

I agree with what you say. Reducing animal consumption must be linked to the reduction of large, extensive farms in favour of small ones that graze unproductive land. They help clear forests and enrich the soil.
