Sure are a lot of struggling homeless people addicted to drugs in Denver proper that didn’t seem to demand the same “moral obligation”? 90 million dollars could have gone a long way to helping them and overcoming the Fentanyl epidemic ravaging the city.
Maybe the vast amount of seniors living in poverty in the city? People who can’t pay tier rent or utility bills despite working full time? Nah, those aren’t moral obligations at all, right?
And with the thousands and thousands people being now being laid off, it will get worse. With that said we need to help all homeless including immigrants.
“We are each entitled to our own opinion about what should happen at the border,” Johnston said in his opening remarks to the Republican-controlled committee.
Republican cities have been putting unhoused people on busses and dropping them off in Dem metro areas for quite some time. I'm sure the difference is lost on Beetlejuice Bobo though.
Ms. Fondler in Chief has a hard time understanding that women and children shouldn’t be left in the streets of Denver to die. Well awful mom, you’ve done such a great job, the government is housing your kid in jail!
