CeCe McDonald is an activist committed to dismantling the prison industrial complex. A Trans woman, she was incarcerated 41 months in a men’s prison for manslaughter of a man she stabbed after she was violently assaulted. She was awarded the Bayard Rustin Civil Rights Award in 2014.
