It does not sound they're trying very hard to impersonate them. At courthouses full of civil servants, they just have to say they're cops and then they're allowed to kidnapped people in broad daylight.

Good thing we fund the actual police so much so they can.. just watch people get kidnapped.

There are many who believe at least some of the plainclothed, masked agents are "Jan 6 Pardonees" in service to Chumpty Dumpty. I think we all know that is a strong possibility
