I’d leave a your account you’ve got over there but erase everything on it content wise, leave a linktree to all the stuff you currently have to redirect people to your current sites/social media so they know where to find you
A french account said yesterday that there is no glory in reenacting the Azincourt battle "just for the principle of the thing" either as a personal or group tactic it is useless... you can change Azincourt with any battle in which a camp lost due to overwhelming odds stacked against it and
where early decisions done by no one who was on the battlefield that day meant total annihilation.
There is no glory in staying in a lost battle only energy and sanity to lose.
And we all know what nazis do. So what is there to keep an eye on.
(That's basically what made me flee twitter in the end: no energy or desire to see french twitter's accelerating descent into conspiracy and far right rethoric)
In the end, even if you stay, i appreciate you as an artist, as a nice person on the internet. If you stayed it wouldn't impact what I think of you, just make me a lil worried for you sanity because of the clusterfuck that is fascistic twitter
I rarely go there anymore, but it makes me furious bc I worked hard to build that home and have to start over now. I’ll leave it up as a forwarding address, most likely, but it’s been so bad for artists attempting to make a safe space for themselves & attempt some income.
