I absolutely love these, because it isn't an eye sore. There are those in the architecture circles that hate this because it's all a lie.

I think it humanizes especially the pedestrian and also commuter experience, which is more important. We've had facades for centuries anyway, it's a tool.

It's not a conspiracy, and it's trying to fit the aesthetics of the location to what we expect.

Rather an ugly grey block out of nowhere, it now blends seemelesly. I would only argue that if the lot space allotted for it, an artistic canvas or installation that could instill community is better.

If it rains there often enough, a chalk friendly canvas would be perfect to bring a community together and the rain will naturally wash away art, allowing for new creations. It'd be zen like, but also bring together families and artists!
