Even more so, when he saw the T1000 start chasing John, he stepped in the way and told him "hey i think I saw him" which slowed the pursuit a little.

That's twice he obstructed.

Just because you're stealing to feed a kid doesnt make it morally correct. And if we were to just allow them to do so, that means criminals will take advantage and just loot the place like maniacs. And thats how we lose businesses and access to recourses

It kinda seemed like it wasn't the perfect liar itself, because it slips up and gets the dog's name wrong when Arnold susses it out.

I think it was learning as it went along, so being lied to for the first time it didn't totally get it. (Sorry, I like nerding out about stupid shit like this).
