Er zijn veel te veel mensen in ons land. Met 20 miljoen mensen in ons land is 50 wolven heeeeel weinig. Mensen moeten zich aanpassen aan de dieren in de natuur, niet andersom. Van mij mogen er tienduizend wolven zijn, of honderdduizend.

Not sure understood everything because automatic translation but the point is to protect people and herds sensibly. And we are NOT doing this at all or insufficiently. Instead we are shooting wolves often without an apparent threat already, so imagine if we change the status. We are PART of nature.

Absolutely, this is why we need much more lobby with farmers and collaborate so they get the funding (for those who are willing to). Because then at least it shifts the balance. We will have to continue working on this in decades to come as many will try to counter EU restoration law interventions.

It's really irritating how von der Leyen lost her pony to an attack in september 2022, commanded to have the carcass DNA-tested to make sure it was one specific wolf and get that one wolf shot to death, and is now on a revenge against all wolves across europe because that wolf survived the game.
