So much science is being deleted & forgotten. It's time for drastic action.
We need a scientific 2-pager because:
- Length≄Credibility
- Strengthening peer review > Removing it
- The academic article is outdated
Let’s publish our research before it’s too late.

a caution: too much junk science - especially bogus, sensational results from a single source - have tarnished the public's trust
the studies distributed for general consumption would have to be relevant and rock solid
More succinct results could be more widely consumed by the general public too.

have long thought that a "news service" run by scientists with pre-written, reviewed articles containing explanations of important collections of studies would be valuable
searchable and availabile to the gen pub, but also featured articles distributed to press services, etc.

the idea is definitely to create accurate, straight-forward content for general public consumption
news article format is desired
rather than single studies, perhaps, it would focus on a corpus of work
help people understand why it's important
It would be great for researchers to think critically about what makes sense to share their findings. Long articles are great for some findings, but definitely not required for all.
