It's stunning! I've made a few as well, and absolutely hate doing them so much 🤣 That spiral is an absolute pain! Mine fell apart if you looked at them funny and had to be repaired too many times to be worth it by the end.

Yes! Did yours all “melt” too? The spirals couldn’t hold up the weight of the glaze in the second firing on mine.

No, they all made it, but I wanted a nice contrast around all the exposed edges, so I just waxed them and left them unglazed, and the end result was that the clay was just a little “rough” and would grab the yarn when it was pulled thru. Can’t find my pic!
