I'm ignoring news as much as I can.

I'm choosing to concentrate on other things. I am closer to finishing a novel than I have been in nine years. Nine years ago, I finished my last novel while I was on maternity leave with the Girl. I'm 3.5K from the end. NO WAY am I getting there now. But close.
