I explicitly remember as some of my childhood friends got older and joined the White Aryan Nation skinheads, they adopted this song as their anthem. We were 10-ish when this song came out.

I think I lot of suburban American youth kind of misinterpreted this song. Like Charles Manson misinterpreted Helter Skelter from the Beatles. Manson thought the lyrics were a call for worldwide racial war, the Beatles were just singing about a carnival ride known as "Helter Skelter".

First of all this band is from England. Second they were NOT "White Aryan Brotherhood". They were actually left wing socialists who hated the unbridled capitalism of Reagan and Thatcher. Your childhood friends sound like a bunch of American suburban dumbfucks. No offense intended, fellow fella.
