I don't want this being taken the wrong way. Transgender culture means the world to me and I will never not be proudly and defiantly trans. I'm just kind of tired living as a reflection of missed adolescent experiences.

ive always thought of it as a good starting point, especially for fresh or closeted women. maid dresses are so memed on that its like, completely reasonable to wear a maid dress and thigh highs to a party as a "cis man". that being said, it is absolutely imperative to develope personal taste further
i've been thinking abt this kinda stuff lately too. people can be really obnoxious about stereotypes and injokes and stuff. me being trans really shouldn't mean anything other than 'i am trans', i'm like a real fleshed out person y'know
i've had people trying to be my friends where the only thing we have in common is being trans but they think that i'm just another clone of w/e the model trans girl in their friend group is and we of course have nothing in common but they think we do and keep addressing me like it
