When my 6 year old was admitted to hospital due to neurological symptoms that don’t appear in healthy 6 year olds, the paediatrician we saw (previously mask refuser prior to a complaint) only wanted to give her basic bloods and urine test until I pushed for an MRI/EEG and another doctor agreed.
