You'll still see hard, metal armor stretch and flex with movement. There's a lot of complexity in making these things and making them look real and good enough and they just have to make calls of what to and not to work on
You’ll see this a lot in people who use 3D modeling software to assist as references. The 3D models do not deform the pectoral muscles correctly, so you end up with an incorrect shape to the pectoral.
It’s one of those “gotta see it to fix it” sort of situations.
