Sadly, Shibuya Station is in a constant cycle of redevelopment (or destruction?), so finding anything natural is tough.

Totally agree. But Shibuya’s unique history, nature, and culture have been shaped (and shaken) by politics and big corporations—it’s all pretty complicated.
When I was a kid, this river had little fish swimming in it… Seeing it now always gives me mixed feelings.

Here in North Carolina (Tanawha-Cherokee), renamed "Grandfather Mountain," September 27th, 2024, Hurricane Helene altered geography and washed our fish away that haven't recovered. I keep hiking trails here along multiple rivers only to see one very small trout.
I prefer mixed feelings, overwhelmed

Due to geological factors and vested interests, the river can't be removed, so it is left as is. yes, so there are no fish there now.

Actually, my company also has a presence in NC, so I know about that hurricane! The server went down, and I was panicking in Japan...

I'm so sorry your business has been affected by Hurricane Helene.
One business, about 20 minutes drive south of me, has caused a market strain, Baxter, they produce IV bags, medical tubing, etc.
